More than a decade ago the brothers Rob and Bruce Shaw had the foresight to introduce to South Africa specialised pumps for known specific requirements. Backed by the determination to succeed they introduced a range of Magnetic Drive Pumps. This action has subsequently proved to be a milestone in the South African pump industry.

In March 2001 they then formed a new company, namely Bru-Quip (Pty) Ltd. Bru-Quip’s immediate goal is to become South Africa’s leading manufacturer and supplier of liquid ring vacuum pumps. The trade name of Bru-Vac will soon become the trusted name in the market place.

We also specialize in complete vacuum systems, as well as vacuum cleaning systems. Bru-Quip will also be putting more effort into the air operated double diaphragm pumps and look forward to increasing their market share.
